February Featured Info-Pro Employee: Matt Diederichs

Meet Matt Diederichs

In our employee of the month blog series we highlight a different Info-Pro employee every month so you can get to know us better! Up this month? Matt Diederichs.

Employee Name/Title

Matt Diederichs, Control Room Coordinator

What does your role entail at Info-Pro?

I am the Control Room Coordinator. I take care of the mail, tax bills that need to be sorted, and payments for our lenders. I also am the IT Czar and I take care of the building maintenance.

How long have you worked at Info-Pro?

1 year and 3 months

What other jobs have you had prior to working at Info-Pro?

I have worked in customer service in the past. I also build PC's as a side hobby and do diagnostics.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at Info-Pro generally?

I like my current position because it is challenging and I enjoy working with my coworkers.

Tell us about your family.

I have a wife, Rhiannon, she means everything to me. I also have 2 dogs, Smokey (shih tzu) and Tucker (golden doodle). They are awesome dogs and get spoiled rotten.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love going fishing. That is probably my favorite hobby. I also love kayaking so I go quite frequently. When I don't have those as options to do, you can either find me in my garage fixing something or playing a game on my PC.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Fond du Lac, WI and have lived here all my life. I lived in a few different houses, but never left FDL.

What’s your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?

This may sound cliche, however I love going up north. When I say up north, I mean UP NORTH. I will go to rural areas that not many people go to. No running water and no electricity are things that don't bother me one bit. I love being in nature so up north is awesome to me.

Share an interesting or fun fact about yourself.

I'm a huge audiophile. I could talk to someone for hours about equipment and styles of music if they let me. I have gone to audio shows such as Axpona, which is held in IL, and really enjoy hearing some of the most clear audio systems I have ever listened to.
