Guaranty Service Group, Inc. Presented Well Workplace Award by Wellness Councils of America

The Wellness Council of America, with local affiliate Wellness Council of Wisconsin, recently presented its coveted Gold Well Workplace Award to Guaranty Service Group, Inc. Guaranty Service Group includes Info-Pro Lender Services and Guaranty Title Services. Info-Pro is a national provider of real estate tax monitoring, flood determination and insurance monitoring. Guaranty Title Services provides title insurance and operates in three locations: Fond du Lac, Green Lake and Juneau, Wisconsin. The Gold Well Workplace Award recognizes an organization for its commitment to the health and well-being of their employees.

Guaranty Service Group by achieving the Well Workplace Award has made a long-lasting commitment to the health and well-being of its employees. As stated by WELCOA President Ryan Picarella, “Good companies know that their employees are their most valuable asset. Great companies adopt policies that support employees’ efforts to reduce health risks and are bold about motivating them through bold strategies, programs, and tactics. Great companies know that by improving their employees’ health, they can reduce health care costs.”

Guaranty Service Group is committed to improving the health and well-being of its 75 employees. The GSG Wellness Team, led by Debbie McFarlane, Director of Human Resources, consists of 10 employees across all areas of the company. Chad Raube, Chief Executive Officer states “The Guaranty Service Group Wellness Team has worked hard to put together a year-round program that is impactful and helps employees achieve their personal wellness goals”.

“The Guaranty Service Group Wellness Program has changed my life in so many ways.” commented Patti Thompson, Client Services Specialist. “I increased my physical activity and because of a company bike challenge that I joined, I am now an avid bicyclist and average 90 miles per week”. Guaranty Service Group’s wellness initiatives include nutrition education programs, on-site weight watchers, healthy cooking demonstrations and a variety of physical activity programs including the Get Up and Go Challenge, Exercise Bingo and the National and Local Bike Challenge. In addition to reimbursing employees for gym memberships, fitness classes and walking/running/biking events, the company also provides on-site health risk assessments for employees to learn and understand their overall wellness score.

The Well Workplace Awards initiative is driven by a rigorous set of criteria outlined in WELCOA’s seven benchmarks to a result-oriented Well Workplace. Since its inception in 1991, over 1,000

organizations, ranging from educational institutions to non-profit and profit sectors have joined the list of “America’s Healthiest Companies” by receiving the Well Workplace Award. “Guaranty Service Group worked hard to successfully meet the rigorous standards set by the Well Workplace process. It is our pleasure to recognize them as the newest Wisconsin employer to achieve Well Workplace status” said Wellness Council of Wisconsin’s Executive Director, Jessica Raddemann.
