New President Announcement: Get to Know Kris

How long have you been with Info-Pro?

It will be 17 years in September 2021.

What do you like best about working at Info-Pro?

Without a doubt, the culture! It is family-focused, caring, fun and supportive. It has been a wonderful environment to develop in my career over the years. The people in the company are just wonderful.

What other jobs did you have prior to coming to Info-Pro?

I worked at a global manufacturing company, Fives Giddings and Lewis in Quality Engineering and Purchasing prior to coming to Info-Pro.

Where did you grow up?

My family originally hails from Green Bay, WI, though we moved to Fond du Lac when I was 6 years old and have been here since.

Tell us about your family.

I am married to my husband Ryan for 23 years and we have three beautiful daughters: Korynne, Claire and Megan. I have one cute-as-buttons grandson, Jack. My two sisters and parents live in nearby towns which is wonderful as we love to get together and hang out.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

Early bird – no question. I often have trouble staying up past 9pm, and am often up “with the birds” around 4-5am.

What is your favorite book or movie and why?

As a voracious reader, I have many favorite books. At the top of my list are: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver and The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. I love historical fiction, beautiful writing and the feeling of being transported to another place and time.

What hobbies do you have or activities do you like to do?

I enjoy reading, cooking and gardening. We have Sunday night family dinners where the kids and their families come home. I spend many a Sunday afternoon cooking a feast, and I absolutely love feeding and connecting with our growing family.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that people might not know about you.

I took eight years of piano lessons and accompanied various events in high school band and chorus. I recently started getting back into playing…it’s slow going as I progress into more difficult pieces. 😊

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?

My mom has told me since I was young “Just do your best. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it will always be more than enough.” She is a wise woman.
