Employee Name/Title

Jane Shealer, Escrow Processing Specialist

What do you do in your role at Info-Pro?

As an Escrow Processing Specialist my role is to process online real estate tax payments on behalf of our lenders using different online platforms. We also work with tax agencies when refunds are required for over-payment or duplicate tax payments, along with other general tax inquiries.

How long have you worked at Info-Pro?

I just reached my one-year anniversary with Info-Pro on September 14th.

What other jobs have you had prior to working at Info-Pro?

Prior to Info-Pro most of my career was at Nielsen. I held several roles over the years but most recently, the past 10 years, as an Associate Business Consultant working with clients to help them rebuild/refresh their databases to maximize the data to help grow their business.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at Info-Pro generally?

Hands down, the people. My team is great and works so well together it makes work fun. Also, the family focused company culture is so refreshing. And lastly, every day brings on something new to learn. The position is definitely not boring or repetitive.

Tell us about your family.

My husband Geno and I have been married almost 27 years. I have two children from my previous marriage. Michelle (37) and son-in-law, Don, have one son Lucas who will be three in January. My daughter Emily (32) and son-in-law Hans have one son Parker who just turned two in August. We also have two grand-dogs, Gunner (Michelle’s) and Niko (Emily’s). They all keep me very busy!

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I spend as much time as I can with family and friends. I also enjoy golfing in the summer and reading any chance I get.

Where did you grow up?

I have lived in Fond du Lac all my life except for four years, when I was just starting grade school, when we lived in Waukesha. We moved there for that short time because of my dad’s work then came back and have been here ever since.

What’s your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?

I love the scenery and all the different activities available throughout the year. There are so many beautiful places to visit and experience so close to home, who wouldn’t love Wisconsin?!

Share an interesting or fun fact about yourself.

Geno and I were married live on TV on Larry McCarren’s Locker Room Show, which was a weekly Packers Show during the football season. Brett Favre was the guest that night, so he gave the wedding toast and signed a football for us. It was a crazy thing how this came about but that story is for another day. Needless to say, it was quite an experience.
