In our employee of the month blog series we highlight a different Info-Pro employee every month so you can get to know us better! Up this month? Mike McAuly
Mike McAuly, Business Development Representative
What do you do in your role at Info-Pro?
In my role as Business Development Representative, I research banks and credit unions to find the people most likely to need, and or want, the services of Info-Pro Lender Services. Once I have identified key people in each institution, I call and email them to get their attention, and create an “interest” in Info-Pro. Ultimately, my goal is to establish a connection with people, set up a Call Appointment so they can learn more about the services of Info-Pro Lender Services.
How long have you worked at Info-Pro?
I started with Info-Pro Lender Services in April 2018, so I have been with the company 16 months.
What other jobs have you had prior to working at Info-Pro?
Most of my career has been in the areas of customer service and or sales. I have worked in restaurants, retail and the bottled water business. Consequently, I fully understand, and appropriate, the vital importance of providing excellent customer service, which Info-Pro Lender Services does.
What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at Info-Pro generally?
My favorite “thing” about working at Info-Pro is the informal professionalism everyone exhibits working at Info-Pro. Everyone is working hard to provide excellent service to our customers, yet the work environment is friendly, flexible and fun.
Tell us about your family.
My entire family lives in Fond du Lac. My mother, brother, sister-in-law and their two girls as well as my sister, stepsister, stepbrother, brother-in-law and sister-in-law also all live in the area. After having been away for so many years, it is fun to be able to get together often to share in each other’s lives.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I like to read, travel, watch You Tube videos and walk on the tread mill at Planet Fitness.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Fond du Lac, WI.
What’s your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?
Cheese curds … A&W and Culver’s have excellent cheese curds. I don’t recall going to an A&W and or Culver’s restaurant in all the places I have lived. Of course, I like more than “just” cheese curds living in Wisconsin. I love Lake Winnebago; the changing seasons, except snow; being close to my family and the low stress, no traffic problems living in Fond du Lac.
Share an interesting or fun fact about yourself.
As I mentioned earlier, I grew up in Fond du Lac. After graduating from UW-Whitewater, I embarked on a 29 year journey that led me to live in interesting and fun places. In summary, I lived in Houston and Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Pasadena, CA; returned to Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; went back to Pasadena, CA; Atlanta, GA and finally found my way back to Fond du Lac, WI.
