Bob Shifflett, Vice President of Sales
What do you do in your role at Info-Pro?
The Vice President of Sales has four key responsibilities as a function of their role:
- Generate new revenue, in relation to stated revenue goals, by new customer acquisition, in the assigned geographic region and named accounts throughout the United States.
- Generate new revenue by managing sales/buying cycles in accordance with the policies, processes and standards established by Info-Pro Lender Services. This includes consistent daily use of the principles and processes defined in Info-Pro's use of Customer Centric Selling, as well as our CRM to update opportunities and the associated information.
- Ensure a smooth on-boarding process for each new customer by properly managing expectations of the customer as well as the Customer Service and Search Operations teams through effective internal communication, including the facilitation of a pre-signature hand-off meeting.
- Contribute to product marketing and go-to market messaging by utilizing subject matter expertise to provide content for marketing materials and tactical marketing programs.
How long have you worked at Info-Pro?
A couple of weeks, I started April 29, 2019.
What other jobs have you had prior to working at Info-Pro?
I’m an accomplished Sales Professional with over thirty years of experience in sales, sales management, marketing and leadership. I’ve worked for financial institutions, top 500 financial technology organizations, as well as, entrepreneurial companies, including my own. I have a proven track record in consultative sales and relationships, and broad experience with Community Bank, Thrift and Credit Union software, software as a solution and service solution sales, both outsourced and in-house.
What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at Info-Pro generally?
I immediately embraced the culture of the organization and my new associates. There’s a dynamic, and can do energy and attitude everywhere. The entire organization teaming together for the success of each other and our customers.
Tell us about your family.
I have three wonderful children, daughter Kerry, and sons Brandon and Grant. I also am the proud grandparent of three beautiful girls, Dehler, Isla and Elle.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family most of all. I’m a big sports fan, and I also enjoy travel, playing golf, reading and volunteering with local groups that benefit my community.
Where did you grow up?
In the middle of beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
What’s your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?
Without a doubt, the warmness of the people.
Share an interesting or fun fact about yourself.
I grew up in Virginia with a family of Washington Redskin season ticket holders/fans , but at 10 years old I broke away and embraced the Green Bay Packers. I’ve continued to be a loyal and dedicated fan of the Packers! I’m still waiting to attend a game at Lambeau! I enjoy the challenge and opportunity of sales, and the long- term relationships that are developed. I like sports cars, and I’m an avid University of Virginia fan (academics and sports).
