In our employee of the month blog series we highlight a different Info-Pro employee every month so you can get to know us better! Up this month? Pat Winkler
Pat Winkler, Client Services Support Specialist
What do you do in your role at Info-Pro?
I am a Client Service Specialist. In client services we are responsible for onboarding new customers and for answering any questions lenders have related to our flood and tax services.
How long have you worked at Info-Pro?
What other jobs have you had prior to working at Info-Pro?
I have only had one other full-time job since I graduated from high school. Previously I worked for 34 ½ years at New Holstein High School as the office manager.
What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at Info-Pro generally?
I love how every day is different and how at Info-Pro family is first and everyone is treated like family. It is also so rewarding when a customer lets you know how much they appreciate your help.
Tell us about your family.
My husband Dan is a farmer, and we have been married for almost 33 years. We have three girls ages 30, 27, and 24. My oldest daughter, Stacy, lives in Georgia with her husband Jacob and my only granddaughter, Nova. My middle daughter, Jenny, still lives at home with her dog Moose, and my youngest daughter, Sarah, just got married in October and lives in Kiel with her husband, Kyle.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend a lot of time reading. When my husband can get away, we like to vacation someplace warm. Since my granddaughter was born a year ago, our “someplace warm” is usually Georgia.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in St. Joe which is a little town in the Holyland between St. Cloud and Mt. Calvary. I haven’t ventured far from home as we currently live in St. Cloud.
What’s your favorite thing about living in Wisconsin?
My favorite thing about living in Wisconsin is fall and the changing colors. We try to get away to Door County in the fall when the colors are beautiful.
Share an interesting or fun fact about yourself.
My youngest daughter has multiple sclerosis and several years ago we completed a 50 mile MS Challenge Walk in Door County. We walked 50 miles in 3 days which was a huge accomplishment. I also completed my first ½ marathon last year.
